Privacy policy

Last updated 20 September 2026

In short: we collect only what we need to take your order and send your files. We do not sell your details, we do not send newsletters you did not ask for, and card details never reach us.

Who is responsible for your data

Practical Pages is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].

We never see or store your card or bank details. Those go straight to Stripe.

Who else handles your data

Some of these companies are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where data leaves the UK or the European Economic Area, it is protected by the safeguards those companies use, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires us to.

Emails

We only email you about your order. We will not add you to a mailing list unless you ask to join one.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually six years. Emails with us are kept for up to two years after the last message, unless they are part of an order record. Hosting logs are kept for a short period by Cloudflare.

Cookies and similar technology

This site uses very little. There are no cookies for analytics, and no advertising cookies other than Meta's.

NameFromWhat it does
_fbp, _fbcMetaLets Meta tell us which adverts led to a visit or a sale. Lasts up to 90 days.
pp_cookie_consentThis siteRemembers whether you said yes or no to the Meta cookie. Stored in your browser only.
pp_session_id and similarThis siteRemembers your order reference in this browser tab so a page refresh still finds your downloads. Cleared when you close the tab.

If you are in the UK, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, the Meta pixel only loads if you choose "That is fine" on the cookie message. Elsewhere it loads by default. Wherever you are, you can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link at the foot of each page. You can also manage how Meta uses your data in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.

Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages to process payments and prevent fraud.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month. Some records, such as order records, we must keep by law even if you ask us to delete them.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.

Children

This site is for adults planning family trips. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
